How To: Make a DIY Mini Wreath

Create your own indoor mini wreath using preserved & dried flowers in three easy steps!

What you’ll need: sharp scissors, floristry tape, wreath ring, ribbon and a selection of stems.

Step One

Prepare your flowers by grouping the stems into a miniature arrangement. Try arranging the flowers & foliage at different heights so they can all get a chance to be seen! When you’re happy with the look, use a piece of floristry tape to wrap & bind the ends together.

Floristry Tip :

Keep the floristry tape taught when using! You’ll notice that it gets tacky as you wrap the stems.

Step Two

Now it’s time to attach your flowers to the wreath ring. Position your flowers against the wreath ring and using a piece of floristry tape, wrap the tape around the stems & ring so it’s nice and secure. You can use an extra piece of floristry tape here if needed.

Step Three

To finish off your mini wreath, take the length of ribbon provided and wrap the stems & ring together covering the tape as you go. Keeping an end of ribbon free, we like to start around half way down the stems working our way down to the end and back up towards the flowers before tying the ends together to keep in place.

We love using our mini wreaths as Christmas tree decorations, place settings and cute window displays!
